"Ancestral Drift" is a kinetic sculpture featuring saggar-fired ceramic elements, coated with terra sigillata, suspended from rusted metal strings to form a slow-moving constellation of forms. The
saggar firing process introduces organic and unpredictable surface markings, creating a
sense of material transformation — as if each component has undergone geological aging.
The rusted metal adds a further layer of tactility and impermanence, evoking the passage of
time, fragility, and motion within a suspended environment.
